I’m back, and man am I glad! Late Thursday night I returned home from 10 loooong days in Las Vegas on a work trip. If you’ve ever been, you know walking from the Sands Convention Center to either lobby of the Venetian or Palazzo is easily half a mile. I did that at least 10 times a day, so although I didn’t get a good sweaty workout in I was still able to move my body. Sure beats sitting in a chair all day!
First stop was Lululemon. A client asked me to get her a yoga mat and so I happily hopped in a cab and visited the Fashion Show Mall. I may have also purchased these pants.
We had two receptions at TAO, so on Thursday I did a walk-through and snapped this shot from their outdoor patio.
Thursday and Friday we had clients playing at Cascata, a gorgeous golf course just outside of Las Vegas.
Friday night my team was able to grab a bit at First Food & Bar. We had a reception planned for Monday night and wanted to check it out. Doritos Mac and Cheese…I die.
Saturday was our first reception at TAO and I snapped this awesome picture of their monk bar.
Sunday night brought the Kick Off, complete with a Cirque-like aerialist. Sister was perfectly toned and I was totally checking out her legs!
Monday was a co-workers birthday so we ordered mini cupcakes to our 6 AM staff meeting. Red velvet, chocolate and vanilla…breakfast of champions right there.
Also on Monday I put together a yoga program for the meeting attendees. A local yoga instructor came and taught a beginners class in one of the meeting rooms. It was a success and so much fun…I even snuck in to the class :).
Speaking of sneaking, I also snuck onto the show floor to snap this picture on a giant blow up chair! Couldn’t resist the cheesiness!
Tuesday night was our staff dinner. We rented a suite in the hotel, ordered pizza and salad from room service and partied in our pajamas. We played Apples to Apples and The Game of Things while sipping on pink champagne. By night 8 it’s all we could do to keep from falling asleep.
Wednesday night my boss and I got killer seats to see Rock of Ages and then checked out a new nightclub, The Act.
And Thursday before heading back to the east coast I grabbed this pic of a gorgeous fountain in the Venetian lobby.
Since I didn’t have a Say It, Do It last week I’ll let you know what my days since getting home have looked like.
